The hotel room was above the bar, but surprisingly, it was clean and comfortable, despite rumors of one room being haunted. The location was ideal for watching racehorses passing by, away from the noise of the bar. The dining experience was first-class, particularly for a Saturday morning Parkrun.

Our accommodation above a pub was small but comfortable with a bath, great after a day of walking. The squeaky bathroom door and the not so easy-to-access shower were minor inconveniences. The location was lovely, with great views of passing racehorses, although the nearby cylinder tank noise was disruptive at night. The village was quiet, ideal for relaxation or sightseeing, and the pub itself was fab.

The hotel's location is wonderful, making it great for visiting the castle. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, though twin beds were fixed together. The dining experience was excellent, with a variety of delicious options, and the service was warm and welcoming. Facilities are top-notch, and overall, it's a fantastic place to stay and explore the surrounding areas.

My stay at this hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, although a bit small and with thin walls, offered a great view of the town square and the racehorses passing by. However, I had heard rumors about a haunted room, and there were some noise disturbances from neighboring rooms and lack of professionalism from a few staff members behind the bar. The location was lovely, especially in the winter, with beautiful views of the racehorses and convenient proximity to the square. The dining experience was extraordinary, serving outstanding food that kept me satisfied all day. The facilities were good overall, but there were some noticeable areas for improvement in terms of room soundproofing and customer service training.

Staying in the Richard III room was an absolute delight with its old-world charm and welcoming atmosphere. The room had lots of storage space and thoughtful touches like books related to the hotel. However, the squeaky bathroom door and slightly tricky shower entry were minor inconveniences. The location was perfect, just a short distance from Richard the Castle, ideal for exploring the area. The dining experience was exceptional, offering a variety of delicious options that left me satisfied until supper. Overall, a lovely stay with some quirks but definitely worth it.
